September 20 - Ploughing Championships Day

This day is quite special since we went to the 'Ploughing Championships', the most famous plowing competition in Ireland, it is a festival with all kinds of shops, markets, brands, in a huge open field in a town in the east of Ireland, We went by train, since some of the Irish and their respective Spaniards were going, Wednesday (the day we went) was the day when there were going to be the most people, but on Tuesday and Thursday there were also a lot of people, we took the train in Limerick Junction station (Dillon, Cian, who was a friend of Dillon, and I took it), but we got there 15 minutes later than the other friends and at a different station, so we arrived a little later to catch the bus that It would take us to the open field where the Plowing was being held. When we arrived at the open field, everything was full of mud (which our host families previously warned us about and therefore they left us bad clothes and boots so that we wouldn't stain our clothes), the Irish went on one side, and the majority of Spaniards on the other. , we had a great time and we got lost in the mud, the first thing we did was go to get energy at a churreria and eat some churros, then we ate a hamburger from another stand and for dessert an ice cream, we went to a lot of stores where They gave free things such as hats, keychains, backpacks, the longest line we had to stand in was at the Lidl stand, since we also went twice. In short, we had a great time and some of us bought souvenirs for our relatives at these stalls. When I got to the return train, the first thing I did was change my boots for my sneakers and put them in a bag so as not to stain the bus, and when we arrived at the station, Cian's mother came to pick us up to take us to a meeting point. with Dillon's father and thus go back home. When I got home I took a shower and went to sleep since it was a very long day.

Here are some images of this day:
